Jim Mader is running for the seat in South Carolina's District 7 for the U.S. House of Representatives.  As a conservative Republican, he has a positive message for District 7, and understands the work required to change our country's direction.   Jim is not a politician, he's a businessman, a husband, and a father...a man of common sense, honest discourse, and hard work.  That's the kind of man our forefathers envisioned as a representative of the people.     How are the current crop of politicians working out for you?  If asked why he's running Jim says,

"I am not content to just complain.  Protests, letters, and talk show comments have not changed how our government operates.  It hasn’t changed how much our government spends, how it acts towards us, or protects us.  I believe that the only way to get government to change is to change who is in government.
I am not a seasoned politician.  This is my first try for political office. But this does not mean I do not understand politics or the political process. Everyone deals with politics in one way or another every day, whether it is on your job, in school or in family situations.  You work with one another, you compromise, and you advance your cause.   I have the Passion, the Capability, and the unbridled Potential to serve you, our state, and our nation.  I look forward to being your Congressman.

Change you can believe in?  You bet.  elect Jim Mader to the U.S. House of Representatives for South Carolina's 7th District.

    First, a little about myself:

I am blessed to have a beautiful wife named Melany. We’ve been married now for 15 years. We met on a blind date and were married shortly afterwards. We are both from military families. My father is a Marine and her father is Air Force.

How did I get to South Carolina?
My family had been coming to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since 1963. We used to stay at Sherwood Forest Campground up in North Myrtle Beach. The whole neighborhood would load up their campers and away we’d go. There was no by-pass, very few golf courses...
